'The Knowledge Sharing Services Project delivers widespread, efficient and timely access to knowledge and resources that support VTE e-learning practices, research and policy development. It promotes and makes accessible the extensive knowledge base that has been developed since the Framework's inception. In particular, in 2006 it will provide the capacity to leverage existing knowledge contained in VTE resource databases and support the mandating of standards for capturing and transferring knowledge across different contexts, including metadata and standards associated with the semantic web.'
